Join Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide Alice Bean Andrenyak on a two hour Forest Bathing experience. Discover the wonders of the early spring Maine morning while calming and reseting yourself during this very stressful time.
What is the purpose of a Mindful Outdoor Experience or Forest Bathing? Connect with the Outdoors (in the More than Human world), connect with ourselves, connect with each other – face to face. While disconnecting from the digital world, allow the past to be “passed”. Allow the future to unfold. Be present, right Now , in this moment, In the outdoors… To gather, honor traditions, find meaning, connect, witness, enjoy community, share, create memories, become a better version of ourselves.\
Treat yourself to time in the outdoors where you discover the glorious sparkle of the remainders of winter snow, early spring growth and baby leaves, bird and animal calls, and tracks made by non-humans. Slow yourself down and decrease your stress levels, get some Vitamin D on your face, help your body begin to heal itself through the smells, the breeze, the vistas, the tastes and touch. Let Mother Nature bathe you in healing phytoncides. Make new friends and enhance current friendships during this one hour experience.
Plan to join as your schedule permits. This is a free daily session from 9-10am through March 26th. If you wish to leave a donation, all money donated will be given to the Brunswick Food Pantry to assist those needing food especially as incomes are affected by this epidemic.
