Mindful Outdoor Experience aka Forest Bathing series
During our three 1.5 hour sessions, tune into nature and allow your eyes, ears, feet, hands, nose, and body notice the world. We don't walk far for that is not the purpose. We slow down and do eyes open nature meditation. Each week will introduce us to another way of experiencing our surroundings.
We will meet and start with gentle breathing. We'll loosen up our bodies and then start a purposeful walk. Each week we'll have an eyes-open nature meditation. We'll close each session with a special tea ceremony.
Unless we are experiencing a thunderstorm we will be outside. Part of the joy of the Mindful Outdoor Experience is listening to how our non-human natural world talks, especially during a rain storm or on a windy day. Please dress for the weather.
Bring a small chair or pad to sit-upon during our session. Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide Alice will have some to borrow.
