Even Islands Change in the Fall

Fall is a special time anywhere. I love the fall changing the few decidious tree leaves into their beautiful yellows, golds, and browns.

More importantly are the subtle changes that happen such as the poison ivy turning red.

Tree fungi on the end of recently cut wind blown down conifer Or in the four colors on each of these fungi that are growing on the end of this wind blow down tree that was cut so that humans could walk a path.

Look around you and appreciate the subtle differences that you see during the fall. Then you will be better able to enjoy the winter which is coming soon.
